Nissan recently revealed the new, twelfth generation of their global pickup truck, the Navara. While in places and countries all over the world, Nissan enthusiasts and customers drool over the Navara, here in the states we’re left to wonder if the new Navara gives us ideas about what to expect for the next-generation Frontier.
The 2015 Nissan NP300 Navara has not been officially revealed as the new Frontier pickup yet, but Bold Ride claims “but the design, features, and packaging look almost too perfect an evolution for it not to be destined for these shores.” If the experts are right, there is a lot to look forward to with the 2015 Frontier. The Navara offers either a 2.5L turbodiesel or a 2.5L gas engine, and that diesel engine especially posts awesome numbers—188 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque.
Plus, the new Navara features a rounded, stylish new exterior design that is sure to turn heads on the roads—whether those roads are in India or North America. The new Navara even boasts special technologies like Active Limited Brake Slip, Hill Start Assist, and Hill Descent control, giving you ultimate control over this truck. Hopefully, we’ll see the Navara here at Nissan of Clinton, labeled as the 2015 Frontier, sooner rather than later.
