One of the best local events happens annually on the 2nd Saturday of December each year: the Christmas in Clinton Parade. Spectators will be able to enjoy classic cars, new cars, clowns, bands, dancers, homemade floats, professional floats, and Santa Claus. This parade begins at the Exposition Center and goes through downtown Clinton. Children in the crowd will receive candy tossed from the Santa Float. The parade begins at 10am and is free for all to observe and enjoy.
Not too far away is an event where families can sing around the Christmas Tree across from the Volunteer Fire Department Training Building in Harrells, NC. Hot chocolate and light refreshments are available during the Christmas caroling. This event takes place on Tuesday, December 21st from 6-8pm and is free to the public.
There are many more holiday events around Clinton, North Carolina, such as a charity gala, holiday of lights, and even free holiday couponing classes.
