Nissan Truck Documentary Highlights the Titan’s “Heart of Cold”

Nissan Truck DocumentaryNissan has been releasing parts of a documentary highlighting the new and improved nature of the Titan full-size truck. Part five of the “Titan Truckumentary,” titled “Heart of Cold,” proves the next-generation truck is worth its salt—literally. Nissan engineers took the Titan to Alaska, Colorado, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and put the truck to the test against the elements.

In all these icy and snowy places, the truck shows off impressive capabilities, such as its ability to cold-start effectively. Plus, the documentary highlights just how warm and comfortable you can get when sealed up inside the Titan’s luxurious cabin, no matter how cold it is outside. Not only does the Titan keep you safe in winter, though, but it allows you to help others as well—the Titan is great at towing other vehicles out of drifts or snowbanks.

“There is a lot that our engineers can do behind the computer screen and in the laboratory or in the proving grounds. But you can never replicate what goes on in the real world,” said Carl Phillips, senior product planning manager for Nissan. With that in mind, we recommend you come see us at Nissan of Clinton today to check out the Titan for yourself today.

2016 Nissan Titan XD Headed from Detroit to Los Angeles for Showings

2016 Nissan Titan XDThe North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is all about new trucks this year. But, while trucks from Detroit’s own Big 3 try to dominate the American truck market, Nissan is not willing to just sit back and watch. In fact, they brought along an all-new full-size truck of their own this year, the 2016 Nissan Titan XD.

While the new and fully improved Titan is currently on display in Detroit, sporting its vibrant “SolarFlare Yellow” color palette, it will soon be in a state that better fits that bright exterior. The Titan XD PRO-4X model will journey out to the Golden State of California where it will show off its impressive design and new diesel engine in a series of public showings on Saturday, January 17, and Sunday, January 18. If you want to follow the Titan on its journey across Los Angeles, just use the hashtag #NissanTITAN on Twitter.

You can check out a complete list of the Titan’s Los Angeles appearances in a Nissan press release. However, allow us to tell you some things you might not know just from looking at photos of the truck. The Cummins 5.0L Turbo Diesel V8 engine not only makes the truck stronger and more powerful than before, it should also boast improved fuel economy. Finally, it can tow up to 12,000 pounds, so make sure to check back with us at Nissan of Clinton to find out when you can get behind the wheel of one of these great new trucks yourself.
