As a way to reconnect with himself and to enjoy some time off with a great classic car, Scott Fisher, a Las Vegas man, has embarked on a 30,000+ mile road trip in his classic 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster. This epic trip has taken him and his charming Roadster through 44 states and 7 Canadian provinces so far.
However, what originally started as one man’s joyride has turned into a huge publicity opportunity for Nissan. The fact that a 47 year old car from the Japanese automaker is still capable of driving across the country without issue, is an outstanding testament to the quality of the cars. In order to celebrate this accomplishment, Nissan invited Scott out to the Smyrna assembly plant and to Nashville’s Lane Motor Museum to show off his red Datsun. Check out the video below or just enjoy the pictures of Scott with his immaculate Fairlady Roadster.
