Details have just been released about the 2014 model year Nissan GT-R which has undergone several upgrades to make it even more competitive on the supercar market. Each year, the GT-R has been improved in one or two specific areas and for 2014 those areas of focus are driving feel and cabin comfort.
This year, the Nissan GT-R gets new fuel injectors and an oil pan baffle for improved throttle response at high RPMs and during track conditions. Suspension has been modified with a relocation of the front suspension link bush, a new anti-roll bar up front, and a change in spring rate and shock absorber specs. All of these changes help with a lower center of gravity and a more “road-hugging” feel.
Also new for 2014 is a premium interior package that adds a level of craftsmanship to the GT-R. This package adds an exclusive “Red Amber” interior with semi-aniline leather and hand stitching on the seats.
