2012 Nissan Versa Is a Top IIHS Safety Pick

The affordability of the Nissan Versa Sedan is not the only thing the car has going for it, recently the 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan was awarded top scores in IIHS safety tests.  The IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) performed tests to test the rear, front, side and rollover impact protection the Versa provided.

The Versa earned the highest scores in all four of the different impact protection tests, and became the fourth Nissan “Top Safety Pick” of the 2012 model year.  The 2012 Versa Sedan joined other Nissan makes the LEAF, JUKE, and Cube as IIHS Top Safety picks, continuing the carmakers long standing tradition of producing safe quality cars at an affordable price.

In addition to all the standard safety features the 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan comes equipped with, it also comes equipped to help create a safer environment too.  The Versa is the first Nissan model in the United States to earn the carmaker’s PUREDRIVE designation, for using the “most advanced technologies to promote eco-friendly driving and lower CO2 emissions.”
